Plenty of news regarding the Phillies, more specifically involving Ruben Amaro. At the Winter Meetings and prior, it has been heard that the team was asking too much in return for their players. Our fearless GM's response?…
Amaro was asked if #Phillies are wanting too much for their players. "That's a bunch of malarkey. … We've done more listening than asking"

Regarding potential trades, Amaro said every player on #Phillies roster is in play. "We're trying to make good baseball deals, not move $$."

Malarkey, I say. Malarkey! If the Phillies aren't asking and just listening, why even waste a trip to San Diego? They could easily just sit around near their phone and hope someone calls. At this point, any indication of this process moving forward would be encouraging. Instead, we continue to play the waiting game.
