Some not so great news out of Phillies camp today is the status of former top prospect, Jesse Biddle. After missing most of the season with a concussion while with Double-A Reading, Biddle looked to rebound in the Puerto Rican League. Unfortunately, things took a turn for the worst after his latest outing.

In just 2.1 innings worked on Saturday, Biddle gave up seven runs on seven hits after giving up two runs over three innings during his debut on October 31st.
The 2010 first-round pick out of Germantown Friends School went 5-10 with a 4.58 ERA this season, primarily with Double-A Reading. With his "mental break" from the game this season, Phillies management was hoping Biddle could turn things around. This seems to be yet another setback in Biddle's journey to the majors.
Elbow injuries are never good, because the first thought that comes to people's minds is Tommy John.
