In the ninth inning, before Marlon Byrd hit a home run to bring the Phillies within one, two prominent Phillies employees checked out. Scott Palmer, who does public relations for the team, and miserable Aramark food slinger Greg Luzinski both apparently had seen enough. I caught this picture of the two of them leaving PNC Park as the Phillies were coming to bat.
As fans try to stick out watching this team that refuses to rebuild, at least we know their employees are not. If you were feeling bad about giving up on this team, know one thing: you're not alone.
