Kevin Durant, Blake Griffin, and the Western Conference All-Stars will look to defend their title tonight against Carmelo Anthony, LeBron James, and the Eastern Conference All-Stars in the 2014 NBA All-Star Game.
The West come into tonight with a stacked roster all the way down, with Dwight Howard, James Harden, Tony Parker, and Dirk Nowitzki all coming off the bench. The West’s roster also includes three first-time All-Stars in Steph Curry, Anthony Davis, and Damian Lillard.
The Eastern All-Stars seem to have fewer big-name players on their roster, but they do not lack the talent to keep up with this West team. They have a scorer to keep up with Durant in Carmelo Anthony. They have great defenders like LeBron James, Paul George, DeMar DeRozan, Joakim Noah, and Roy HIbbert to disturb the great scorers on the West, like Curry, Lillard, Harden, and Nowitzki. Like the West, they also have three first-time All-Stars in DeRozan, Paul Millsap, and John Wall.
This game has the potential to be highly entertaining. With the best NBA players going head-to-head with each other, it is always fun to watch. Even though players do take this game less seriously and tend to mess around throughout the game, each and every player has a competitive mindset that makes them want to get a win in this game.

Prediction:
I think this game will be highly entertaining, but in the end the West will pull it out. These games tend to push 150 on the scoreboard, so I’ll say the final score will be 142-130 West.
Hopefully, this time next season, Sixers fans will have some hometown players to watch on this Sunday night.
