Joe Banner, former Philadelphia Eagles President is out in Cleveland as the Browns CEO after announcing Tuesday that he is stepping down from his position.
Banner was Eagles owner Jeffrey Lurie's right-hand-man from 1994-2012 before leaving the team to pursue the position in Cleveland.
Former Eagles director of Player Personnel in 1998 Michael Lombardi is also out as Browns general manager. Lombardi will be replaced by former Eagles player Ray Farmer who played three seasons in Philadelphia from 1996-1998.
The Browns hired head coach Rob Chudzinski and then fired him after just one season that saw the Browns finish 4-12.
Banner was present to announce Mike Pettine as head coach but this move is a quick departure for one of the key players in the construction and design of Lincoln Financial Field and architects of the Eagles success over the past decade.
