Per Jim Salisbury the Phillies have signed light hitting infielder Reid Brignac to a minor league deal with an invite to Clearwater. Brignac has spent most of his career with Tampa Bay and found himself on Colorado for half of last season and the other half as part of the carousel of infielders that found themselves on the Yankees. Nothing will wow you about his offense. but he's pretty good with the glove. Consider him infield depth not named Michael Martinez or Pete Orr.
