The quarterback watch at One Novacare Way stretched to it's second Thursday practice.
Philadelphia Eagles head coach Chip Kelly refused to rule Michael Vick out of Sunday's game against the Dallas Cowboys in spite of the quarterback admitting Wednesday that his pulled hamstring was worse than he originally thought.
Vick was on the practice field with his teammates for the early portion of the workout that reporters are permitted to watch.
"No," Kelly responded when asked if he would rule Vick out against the Cowboys. "He'll practice today and I just talked to him, he'll do a little more running around today than he did yesterday."
Nick Foles is expected to start Sunday following his performance against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in which the second-year Arizona product posted a 133.3 quarterback rating while passing for three touchdowns and adding a rushing score as well.
Elsewhere on the injury front Jason Peters returned to practice after missing Wednesday with a shoulder injury. Peters is expected to start Sunday after missing a total of nine plays against the Buccaneers Sunday.
Chris Polk also returned to practice Thursday, as did safety Patrick Chung who has missed several practices with a shoulder injury.
It's worth noting that the Eagles Thursday schedule is limited to primarily red zone drills and not in pads while Wednesday is in full pads and one of the more intense days of the week.
