It's been a good two-week span for Philadelphia Eagles offensive players.
Last week wide receiver DeSean Jackson took home the hardware as the NFC Offensive Player of The Week and following his stellar performance against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, quarterback Nick Foles takes home the honor for week six.
Making his first start of the season in relief of Michael Vick who pulled his hamstring against the New York Giants in week five lit up the Buccaneers and accumulated a 133.3 quarterback rating in the process.
Foles' strong performance of 22 of 31 for three passing touchdowns and one rushing score while completing 71 percent of his passes has stirred conversation throughout the Delaware Valley that he should be named the starter even once Vick returns healthy.
Chip Kelly has yet to name a starter for Sunday's matchup against the Dallas Cowboys at Lincoln Financial Field but Michael Vick said Tuesday that it would likely take 'another week of rehab before I have enough confidence in [my hamstring] which makes it sound as if the 33-year old is at least one week away from being healthy enough to return to action.
Another strong showing from Foles could go a long way towards cementing him as the starting quarterback for the remainder of the season.
