Michael Vick was a full participant in Friday's practice for the Eagles for the first time all week and is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against Tampa Bay.
Following three days of limited participation in practice Michael Vick was a full participant in practice for the Philadelphia Eagles Friday further putting the team's quarterback situation Sunday against Tampa Bay in doubt.
Officially, the 33-year old Vick hampered by a hamstring pull suffered in Sunday's game was a full participant in Friday's practice according to the team and is listed as questionable according to the injury report.
Unlike most teams in the NFL, the Eagles practice on Tuesdays (which is typically an off day for players per the CBA) and are in full pads Wednesday before light practices on Thursday and Friday followed by a full speed workout Saturday. Vick's full participation in Friday's practice should be taken with a grain of salt given the light nature of the walkthrough.
It remains likely that Nick Foles will make his first start of the season against the Buccaneers on Sunday. Foles came on in relief of Vick in the second half of Sunday's 36-21 win over the New York Giants, finishing 16 of 25 for 197 yards and two touchdowns.
Head coach Chip Kelly said Thursday that the starting quarterback will be a game time decision Sunday afternoon.
Foles also appears on the team's official injury report, listed as probable with a groin injury.
Other Eagles injuries include James Casey (questionable, groin), and probable: Connor Barwin (knee), Brandon Boykin (groin), Patrick Chung (shoulder), Donnie Jones (left foot), Jason Peters (finger), Chris Polk (ankle).
There had been some concern that the game would be postponed due to a MRSA outbreak at the Buccaneers facility but the Eagles are proceeding as scheduled Friday with their flight for Tampa set for Saturday afternoon.
