Just two days after going 0-7 and giving up five runs in 2/3 of an inning, Casper Wells is hitting the disabled list, reports the Phillies.

Orr makes his annual September visit a few days early.
The shame of it all is that the Phillies probably will not get a chance to really know if Wells fits into their future plans or not. That could come in Spring Training, but maybe the Phillies will be able to get a week or two out of him in late September.
