Last night's game was a lot of fun. Looks like we will have more of that. The Phillies placed outfielder Domonic Brown on the disabled list, reports the Philadelphia Inquirer's Matt Gelb. Brown is headed to the newer seven-day disabled list for concussions.
Steve Susdorf will get his first opportunity to be on the Phillies' roster. Susdorf, never really considered much of a prospect, was having a solid year in AAA at Lehigh Valley, akin to most of his minor league seasons, really He is hitting .325 with one home run and 25 RBI. Most notable about Susdorf is his plate discipline; he boasts a .419 on base percentage.
Let's just hope Susdorf gets to play instead of Laynce Nix or Michael Martinez.
