A tough season for former Phillies starter Vance Worley just got tougher. Today, the Minnesota Twins demoted Worley to AAA, reports Rhett Bollinger of MLB.com. After making nine starts with the Twins, Worley is 1-4 with a 6.20 ERA.
A fan favorite, the Phillies traded Worley to the Twins along with pitching prospect Trevor May for centerfielder Ben Revere. Revere had a tough April but is having a productive May. Revere is hitting .390 and has a .907 OPS.
