Tonight marked a nice start for Tyler Cloyd. But his next one will be in AAA. After tonight's loss to Arizona, the Phillies optioned their starter to AAA Lehigh Valley. In his place on the roster will be Justin DeFratus.
Cloyd's start was good enough for a win. However, the Phillies offense failed to score after two first inning runs and Cloyd ended up with a no-decision. However, the Phillies have two off days next week so the Phillies figure the extra reliever will help the club in the interim while Cloyd stays on schedule.
