Rodrigo Lopez pitched a scoreless fourth and fifth inning giving up three hits and striking out one. Jonathan Papelbon struck out two in the sixth inning.

In the bottom of the sixth, the Phils put the first run on the board with a sacrifice fly from Ryan Howard which brought home Michael Young from third.

Phillippe Aumont, back from the World Baseball Classic, tossed an inning of relief in the seventh. After allowing a hit and hitting Brandon Inge, Aumont threw a wild pitch, allowing Neil Walker to score. 1-1 ballgame.

Jake Diekman allowed two hits and struck out one in the eighth inning. The Phillies took a 2-1 lead in the bottom of the eighth after Pete Orr smashed a solo homer past right field.

Cesar Jimenez closed it out for the Phils, leaving two on base and ending this game with a called strikeout.

And that's your ballgame, Phils win this one, 2-1.
