Jakub Voracek scored the game-winning goal of last night's 6-5 win from an impossible angle. The goal gave Voracek his first career hat trick.

Have you recovered from last night's exciting drama in Pittsburgh? If you haven't, you don't have much time to catch your breath.

The Flyers return to the ice tonight just hours after completing a 6-5 win over the Pittsburgh Penguins to face the Florida Panthers.

The two teams met just two weeks ago with the Panthers getting a 3-2 shootout win.

Jack Skille and Stephen Weiss scored in regulation for the Panthers with Jonathan Huberdeau and Peter Mueller scoring in the shootout.

Jakub Voracek and Matt Read tallied goals for the Flyers in the game.

Voracek is arguably the hottest Flyer on the ice right now. He has seven points in the last two games for the team (3G, 4 A). Meanwhile, Read suffered an upper-body injury in the first period of last night's game. While his status is not known for tonight, if he is unable to play, expect Tye McGinn to return to the lineup.

Goaltending played a huge part in the last meeting between the Flyers and Panthers as well. Ilya Bryzgalov was solid in regulation but struggled in the shootout. Jose Theodore held the Panthers in the game and stopped both shots in the shootout to seal Florida's win.

The Flyers are also kicking off a five-game homestand. They are 4-1-1 on home ice at the Wells Fargo Center this season. With 10 points on the line in the next 10 days, the Flyers could make up some serious ground in the standings.

And with plenty of motivation following their dominant win against the Islanders on Monday and last night's thrilling with against the rival Penguins, the Flyers may be finding their stride just in time for some of their top veterans to return to the lineup.
