Michael Young talking to reporters…could it be entertaining for us?
Michael Young got to talk to reporters for the first time today, and right away he appears to have made a foe. Ryan Lawrence of the Daily News passes along some early controversy:

So – it was just a joke. What caused Young to react that way?

Young has been a longstanding Cowboys fan. I am sure that if we asked Texas-native Mike Adams if he was a Cowboys fan we could get the same kind of response.
Speaking of Eskin, he made an appearance last night on NBC's The Office. You see, a shot of the Philadelphia-based business"Athlead" had a Howard Eskin bobblehead on a table. Eskin sold the bobbleheads several years ago for charity. Here it is, via son Spike Eskin:
One other Michael Young highlight having nothing to do with baseball? Apparently one television reporter wasn't aware that Young had played third base before. Lawrence was kind with this words, not naming the reporter:
Michael Young was asked (told?) by a TV reporter that he's never played 3B before in a full season. The following is his response…

Young very classily let him know that he was a World Series third baseman:
Young: "I have played third base before, I’ve had a full season over there, I played in a World Series at third base before."

He will get a full season at third base this season, and hopefully another World Series.
