This Gus Bradley Thing May Be Getting Out of Hand

If you have a Twitter account, you've probably seen #GusBus trending in the Philadelphia area. It's pretty safe to say that Eagles fans are quite excited to welcome in a new head coach. Just do a quick "Gus Bradley" search on Twitter, and you'll find several fake Bradley accounts. The tweets range from Nate Allen's playing time to calling NBC's John Clark cocky. They're even getting radio shoutouts.

The excitement over a new head coach is expected. Any time big changes are made on a sports team, it is cause for emotional reaction. To some, though, the reaction has been a bit excessive. It seems that non-Eagles fans are not pleased with the outpour coming from our area. Even some Eagles fans have become naysayers. They can't help but rain on the Gus Bradley parade. But how could the excitement be contained? As Keiana Williams points out, it's been 14 years since this happened in Philly.

For some, this is the first time they're ever witnessing a coaching change for their football team. To say the excitement is overwhelming is absurd. However, people are getting a little to close to Bradley's every move. The picture at the top of the article is a screenshot of Gus Bradley's flight to Philly today (link). As you can see, he's almost here.

Maybe some people don't see this as going to far. But I compare it to a long marriage ending with one person quickly moving on, while the other follows their new eye candy to their home. They get close enough to watch their every move, but try not to creep them out to the point of a restraining order.

When the plane does land in Philly, one can only hope Bradley isn't attacked walking past the airport McDonald's. For the team's sake, I hope Bradley isn't keeping up on his social media.
