Amidst the return of hockey, Sports Illustrated's Peter King narrowed down Chip Kelly's decision. It seems his meeting with the Browns did not go well, and that the "close to an agreement" report we saw a few days ago was wrong.
Kelly seems to have his future in his hands. Does he return to Oregon, a place where he is well-established and has performed quite well? Or, does he come to a 4-12 professional football team with a core that can succeed with the right direction? Well, folks hoping for the latter should look at this tweet from ESPN's Chris Mortensen:
I never know who these "league folks" or "sources" are, but they're right about 50% of the time. I would take Mort's tweet with a grain of salt.
