The Options Continue to Dwindle for the Phillies: Shane Victorino Has a New Team

The Flyin' Hawaiin is coming back to the East Coast. At three years and $39 million, reports FoxSports.com's Ken Rosenthal Shane Victorino will be making $13 million per season with the Boston Red Sox. This means two things for the Phillies. On the plus side, they didn't overpay for a center fielder (although, at the rate this offseason is going, they'll probably have to anyway).

The downside is that yet another possible option for the outfield has been taken away. While names like Hamilton and Bourn remain, the field is shrinking. Panic isn't setting yet, but it just might if this trend continues.

Shane Victorino will be back in Philly with the Red Sox on May 29th and 30th.
