In a world full of unanswered questions, Howie Roseman, GM of the Eagles, received a "4-5 year extension" with the team. The agreement was reached in June of this year. Former President Joe Banner stepped down from his responsibilities, and owner Jeffrey Lurie handed over some of those to Roseman. Around that same time, Roseman received an extension with the team.
Rosemann has been making many decisions for the team in recent years, and it has come into question as to how much of an influence he has had on the team's draft choices. However, this hasn't stopped fans from blaming him for their poor showing in recent rookie drafts. It seemed as though Roseman could have been one of the front office members to go after a spiraling season, but if the report is true, the GM will remain in town for the foreseeable future.
The Eagles have yet to comment on the report.
