It was one rough weekend for the Phillies Phillies in Houston as they failed to capitalize on what seemed to be a big opportunity to advance in the Wild Card race, but there was one bright spot:  shortstop Jimmy Rollins.

In the fifth inning of the Phillies' 7-6 loss to the Houston Astros Rollins stole his 30th base of the season.  The steal was number 402 of his career and marked the tenth season of his career in which Rollins had a 30 stolen base season.

Rollins is third all-time in Phillies history in the stolen base category.  Ed Delahanty is net with 411 (and Rollins could certainly pass him this season).  In first place is Billy Hamilton.  No, that is not minor-leaguer Billy Hamilton that stole 104 bases in 2012 in the Reds organization.  Billy Hamilton, who last played for the Phillies in 1895, has 508.  It's possible Rollins could challenge Hamilton's record with three more injury-free seasons.

Earlier this season, Rollins recorded his 2000th career hit.

Rollins' hustle was unmatched in the Phillies Houston series.  With six hits and four stolen bases, Rollins showed that he has overcome any past ennui and laying it all on the field in hopes of a playoff birth.
