The Phillies certainly built some momentum last night after succeeding against Braves closer Craig Kimbrel.  Kimbrel had only blown two saves all season before succumbing to the bat of Erik Kratz last night.  Cliff Lee, last night's pinch hitter in the bottom of the ninth will take the mound and looks to build off the momentum of his last start, a home victory on Sunday.

The Phillies face the Braves'  ace Tim Hudson.  The Phillies have faced Hudson three times this season.  Hudson was strong for two of them, the other the Phillies got to him.  That was August 8th where Hudson went just 4 1/3 innings, giving up six runs to the Phillies lineup.  More recently,  Hudson is coming off an impressive win against the San Francisco Giants where he pitched seven innings, giving up just one run.

The Braves will be without leadoff man Michael Bourn.  Instead the Braves will turn to Reed Johnson to play center field and Martin Prado will lead off.  While getting a break from Bourn, Phillies foes Brian McCann and Dan Uggla both are in the lineup, hitting sixth and seventh, respectively.
