T.R. Sullivan, who broke the story when the Phillies signed Cliff Lee prior to last season, believes there is a "less than one percent chance" that the Rangers and Phillies make a deal, though they have talked:

The latest word on Cliff Lee is that the Phillies are willing to talk about him. Don’t look for him to be traded to Texas.

An industry source said the chances of Lee returning to the Rangers are “less than one percent.”

Jayson Stark was just on Mike Missanelli show on 97.5 the Fanatic, where he said that it was 25% to 75% possible.

Less than 20 minutes after his appearance, Stark said that the deal is "not going to happen". Things change very quickly at the trade deadline.

Sullivan suggests that the Rangers instead will go after a reliever such as Jonathan Broxton.  Same thing, right?
