Jon Morosi of Fox Sports suggests that the Phillies could spin some of the prospects they receive to acquire third baseman Chase Headley of the Padres:
#Phillies could use prospects they get for one of their vets to land Headley. Of course if they get Olt for Lee they won't need Headley.
Headley is a switch-hitter and would help solve the Phillies third base hole. In a lefty-heavy lineup, Headley would be a nice fit.
Headley is hitting .267 with 12 home runs and 51 RBI for the San Diego Padres. In the past the Phillies have not matched up with the Padres on a trade, but with potentially many prospects coming to the Phillies, maybe they soon will.
