Hey, remember when the Phillies and Dodgers were the best two teams in the NL?
One team really wishes they still did, and it's not who you would have expected. The Dodgers, armed with the NL's best record, look to make it three wins in a row at Philadelphia, and send the Phillies to a fifth frustrating loss in a row.
Kyle Kendrick (2-4, 4.02) gets the ball for the Phillies as he'll try to get them going right. Kendrick has won the last two times out, including a complete game he threw in St. Louis. Kendrick has given up two runs or fewer in five of his six starts. He'll be opposed by Chris Capuano, who is off to a great start at 7-2, with a 2.50 ERA.
Unfortunately, tonight's line-up is what you would expect, which is to say, the same thing we get most nights:

Jimmy remains in the leadoff hole, which has become a real hole for this team. Polanco gets the night off, which is a necessary evil with him sometimes, and Mayberry gets a start.
Jim Thome is back with the team, purely as a pinch-hitter now, and Pete Orr is sent back to AAA, Lehigh Valley. Other than that, there are no new roster moves today.
