Schwimer

Well, it was pretty predictable; Mike Stutes was unavailable for the game where Kyle Kendrick let the bullpen throw six innings and David Herdnon threw 57 pitches.  Stutes heads to the disabled list, and righthander Michael Schwimer is recalled from AAA Lehigh Valley.

As far as they are as pitchers, I think the results that one may expect are pretty similar between the two.   At AAA Schwimer was 1-0 with a 1.04 ERA in seven games.

One advantage of having Michael Schwimer around now, is that he will be in Philadelphia on May first when he is going to make us millions.  It is not a scam, so let's see what Tuesday brings!

Stutes, who was once considered doubtful for opening day, was 0-0 with a 6.35 ERA.
