Good news on the knee?
Jimmy Rollins was out of Sunday’s starting lineup with a bruised right knee. Rollins fouled a ball off his kneecap in the first at-bat of the game Saturday night. Manuel said Rollins was “day to day” following Sunday’s game. However, it seems Jimmy Rollins gave us a quick update via twitter:
Rollins isn't in the lineup for the opener against the Dodgers. Until then, it means more Wilson Valdez filling in at shortstop.
Updated 5:44pm: According to Ryan Lawrence, Jimmy Rollins MRI negative, Amaro expects him back "in next couple of days."
