The Eagles face the Giants in week 14 of the regular season. The Eagles offense has looked horrible, finishing the half with just 116 total yards and three points. The Eagles head into the half down 17-3 in a must win game for the Birds. Here is what we saw in the first 30 minutes of action:

First Half Offensive MVP

TE Zach Ertz. Ertz has been the Eagles lone bright spot finishing the half with five catches for 69 yards. Ertz had two 20+ yard receptions that led to an Eagles field goal in the second quarter.

First Half Defensive MVP

S Malcolm Jenkins. Jenkins had a great first half with four total tackles and one pass deflected. Jenkins’ pass deflected saved a touchdown that would have put the Giants up two possessions.

Who Needs To Step Up

CB Ronald Darby. Darby has had a horrible first half, missing a tackle on third down that led to a touchdown and giving up a huge 42 yard reception. Darby finished out the half giving up a 55 yard touchdown bomb to put the Eagles down 14 points at the half. Darby is going to need to have an incredible second half if the Eagles want to mount a huge comeback

Who To Watch Out For

RB Saquon Barkley. Barkley is the Giants main play-maker and will be a huge part in their running and passing game in the second half. Barkley had a decent first half, finishing with 39 yards on 10 carries.
