Akeem Spence Signs With Jaguars Just Days After Release From Eagles
By Paul Bowman, Sports Talk Philly Editor
The Eagles will head into their game with weekend with two rookie defensive tackles who have yet to appear in an NFL game.
Anthony Huggins, who the team signed off of the Texans’ practice squad, and Anthony Rush, who was signed off the Raiders’ practice squad, appear set to play their first games and, if another move isn’t made, one of the two may very well be a starter.
They may start because Hassan Ridgeway has now found himself on IR along with Malik Jackson.
The only other defensive tackle on the squad was veteran Akeem Spence, who was cut as dead weight after recording just seven tackles and not a single quarterback hit in six games with the Eagles.
Like LJ Fort before him, he did not waste any time joining a new team as the Jaguars have announced his signing just a few days later.

Spence will now join Nick Foles in Jacksonville as Foles tries to make his return in the coming weeks.
