The Eagles face the Vikings in week six of the regular season. The Eagles defense has looked horrible so far giving up 24 points and 251 yards. The Eagles go into half time down 24-10. Here’s what we saw in the first 30 minutes of action:

First Half Offensive MVP

QB Carson Wentz

Wentz has been a bright spot in the Eagles struggling offense. Wentz has thrown for 143 yards as well rushed for 23 yards. Wentz added a big touchdown pass to Miles Sanders to cut the Eagles deficit to 14.

First Half Defensive MVP

S Malcolm Jenkins

Jenkins has been the one bright spot in the Eagles defnese so far. Jenkins had a huge pass deflection to prevent a touchdown and hold the Vikings to a field goal. Jenkins finished the half with three tackles and one pass deflection.

Who Needs To Step Up

The whole Eagles secondary needs to step up. They have been getting burnt all day giving up 201 yards and three touchdowns. If you Eagles want to stay in this game their secondary is going to need to play a lot better in the second half.

Who To Watch Out For

Stefon Diggs and Adam Thielan. Both star receivers have been torching the Eagles secondary racking up 173 yards and scoring three touchdowns. The Eagles need to keep an eye on the two receivers as it looks like they’re in for another big half.
