After a long three days of training camp practice and an even longer offseason, it's finally time for the Flyers to take the ice for a game.

This year's preseason opener pits the Flyers against the New York Islanders on Monday night at Wells Fargo Center at 7 p.m.

The Flyers lineup for the game will be the same as the lines run in their first group on Sunday at practice with one exception. Forward Morgan Frost, originally scheduled to play in the game, will miss Monday's game with a lower-body injury. He is day-to-day.

The lines for Monday's game look like this:

25 James van Riemsdyk 13 Kevin Hayes 93 Jake Voracek
23 Oskar Lindblom 50 German Rubtsov 44 Chris Stewart
76 Isaac Ratcliffe 46 Cal O'Reilly 49 Joel Farabee
64 Maksim Sushko 24 Mikhail Vorobyev 51 Kyle Criscuolo
Defensemen
53 Shayne Gostisbehere 61 Justin Braun

55 Sam Morin 3 Andy Welinski

The Islanders roster for Monday's game will be as follows:

Defensemen: Sebastian Aho, Kyle Burroughs, Thomas Hickey, Grant Hutton, Scott Mayfield, Luca Sbisa, David Quenneville

This will be the first of seven preseason games for the Flyers, six of which will be played over the next two weeks before the team heads to Europe ahead of the season opener. The Flyers are holding a brief morning skate in Voorhees for Monday's game group and another session for the non-game group after. The same routine will be on for Tuesday before the Flyers head to Long Island to face the Islanders on the road.
