The NHL schedule for the 2019-20 season will officially be released next Tuesday, but as usual, the home openers were released a few days early.

Part of the Flyers schedule was already revealed months ago with the announcement that the Flyers would face the Chicago Blackhawks on Oct. 4 in Prague, Czech Republic to open the season. That game will technically be considered a home game for the Flyers.

The team’s first home game in Philadelphia will be against the New Jersey Devils on Oct. 9 at 7:30 p.m.

The Flyers also announced the preseason schedule on Tuesday, including three home games that will be the first chance for fans to see some of the players that will make the final roster in October. In addition, the Flyers rookies will play the Islanders rookies at PPL Center on Sept. 11.

We’ll have more on the rest of the Flyers 2019-20 regular season schedule upon its release next Tuesday.
