Having lost three straight games, including being shut out 9-0 by the New York Mets in the second of a three-game set Tuesday evening at Citi Field, the Philadelphia Phillies responded with a slew of roster moves prior to Wednesday's seven-game road trip finale.

De Los Santos, 23, has thrown three solid starts so far in 2019 at the Triple-A level, including posting a 24-5 strikeout-to-walk ratio and 2.81 ERA over 16 innings. The Phillies' No. 6-ranked prospect was named the International League Pitcher of the Week on April 15.
Rodriguez, 33, slashed .267/.327/.622 through 12 games with the IronPigs, producing five singles, two doubles, one triple, four home runs, 12 RBI, three walks and 19 strikeouts spanning 49 plate appearances. The 11-year veteran utility player suffered through 2019 spring training with the Phillies with a meniscus tear in his right knee.
Pazos, 27, was acquired from the Seattle Mariners this past offseason, along with Juan Nicasio and Jean Segura, for J.P. Crawford and Carlos Santana. In seven appearances with the IronPigs, the southpaw allowed six runs (five earned) on eight hits, seven walks and four strikeouts spanning 7 1/3 innings. His ERA reached 6.14, while his WHIP was 2.045.
Anderson, 25, has now made a combined three appearances this season between Triple-A and at the major league level. On Tuesday, the right-hander allowed five runs through four innings in relief of right-handed starter Zach Eflin against the Mets. Anderson tossed two scoreless frames in his 2019 Phillies debut on April 15, however. De Los Santos will replace Anderson as the Phillies' new long relief arm.
Walding, 26, has had anything but a great start to his major league career. Now, through 21 combined plate appearances between last and this season, Walding has struck out 14 times, collecting only one hit — a home run. The third baseman has struck out in each of his two pinch-hit plate appearances in 2019 (April 20 at Rockies, April 23 at Mets).
