Defensive tackle Bruce has cleared waivers for the second time this season and has been re-signed to the practice squad.

The Eagles like Hector and think he will be a valuable contributor in the future. In his limited reps, he has registered only one assist and is credited with half a sack.
The Eagles are now down to just Fletcher Cox, Treyvon Hester and Haloti Ngata, who missed three games due to injury in the first half of the season, in their defensive tackle unit. That may change, though.
The fact that the Eagles released Winston Craig is odd. What makes it odd is that the practice squad was only at nine players and they didn’t have to release anyone for Hector to have a spot. The move leaves a vacancy on the squad, which may telegraph the return of a player from an injury.
The guess here is that since Hector and Craig (both defensive tackles) essentially moved back one spot on the depth chart, the Eagles expect a new tackle soon. Tim Jernigan has been on the Non-football Injury (NFI) list all season and his production has been missed. He had to remain on the list for at least eight weeks, making him eligible to return any time now.
If Jernigan begins practicing with the team, the Eagles will need to activate him within three weeks. If Jernigan returns, it is likely that a depth player (like the recently promoted Chandon Sullivan) is waived and added to the practice squad to fill the final spot.
