The Flyers are back on the ice for the fourth straight day. For the first time in the preseason, they will face a team other than the Islanders.

The New York Rangers await as the Flyers hit the road for the third time in the preseason so far, facing the Rangers at Madison Square Garden.

Game time is set for 7 p.m.

The Flyers are have Claude Giroux and Jordan Weal back in the lineup as veterans. Radko Gudas makes his preseason debut on the blue line. Brian Elliott will also get the start in goal.
 
Additionally, there is the usual healthy dose of prospects in the lineup for a preseason road game. Carsen Twarynski plays again after playing in Tuesday's game. Mikhail Vorobyev, Nicolas Aube-Kubel, German Rubtsov and Phil Myers are all back in the lineup.
 
Carter Hart is also serving as backup goalie and is expected to play a portion of the game.

At a skating session in Voorhees, Wayne Simmonds returned to the ice after a scheduled maintenance day on Tuesday. Sean Couturier sat out practice on a scheduled maintenance day. Andrew MacDonald participated in practice.
 
The Rangers will carry a solid number of veterans such as Mika Zibanejad, Vladislav Namestnikov, Pavel Buchnevich, Brady Skjei and Henrik Lundqvist
 
In goal, Lundqvist is expected to split duties with Dustin Tokarski, who spent last season with the Phantoms.
