After just three games, 12 plate appearances and 12 innings in the field with the GCL Phillies West, Philadelphia Phillies 2018 third overall pick — third baseman Alec Bohm — is receiving the call up north to play for the short-season Williamsport Crosscutters.

Bohm, 21, slashed .500/.583/.500 in three GCL games, with two runs, five hits, two RBI, one walk and one stolen base. The Omaha, Nebraska, native fielded a dozen perfect innings at the hot corner, along with three chances, one putout and two assists.
