The Philadelphia Eagles were presented with their Super Bowl LII rings last week. This week, the Eagles decided to present one of their former players with a ring — long-snapper Jon Dorenbos. The former Eagle played 11 seasons in Philadelphia prior to getting traded to New Orleans last August. Although fans were sad to see him go, the trade actually helped save Dorenbos' life. Upon getting his physical with the Saints, doctors found an aortic aneurysm that required emergency surgery. He did not return to the field, and may not ever, but Dorenbos is healthy and recovered after the scare. The Eagles hosted Dorenbos during Super Bowl LII and he celebrated with the Lombardi Trophy after the 41-33 win.
On Thursday, Dorenbos was given a Super Bowl ring and his reaction is about as good as you can expect.

Dorenbos joined the Eagles in 2006 and he played in franchise record 162 consecutive games until a wrist injury derailed the impressive streak. Only David Akers (188), Brian Dawkins (183), Harold Carmichael (180), Chuck Bednarik (169) and Tra Thomas (166) have played more games in an Eagles uniform then Dorenbos.
He also dominated as a magician on America's Got Talent and his personality and passion for the game of football was very easy to recognize.
