Last Tuesday, six Philadelphia Phillies Single-A prospects — of the second-place Lakewood BlueClaws (37-26) — were named to the 2018 South Atlantic League All-Star Game North Division roster.

Two BlueClaws starters — LHP Will Stewart and RHP Ramon Rosso — two relievers — RHP Addison Russ and LHP Kyle Dohy — and two infielders — SS Nick Maton and 1B/3B/LF Jake Scheiner — will represent the North Division team. Despite leading the South Atlantic League in ERA, fellow BlueClaw David Parkinson (1.21, 52 innings) has not been named to the Northern Division All-Star roster. Stewart has the second-best ERA in the league, 1.25 (64 2/3 innings).

The Phillies prospects will be led by former big league catcher and current Greensboro Grasshoppers manager, Todd Pratt. Maton, the No. 30-ranked Phillies prospect, is slashing .258/.318/.374 with 12 doubles, three home runs and 15 RBI in 51 games this season.

The SAL All-Star Game will take place next Tuesday, June 19, in Greensboro, North Carolina at First National Bank Field.
