The Sixers have the threads they'll be wearing for the upcoming series with the Boston Celtics, at least on the road. At home, it'll be the City Edition jerseys, per usual. On the road, the Sixers will be rocking the reds, just like in the 1980's.
The red Sixers jerseys were staples for the team back in the 1980's especially during heated series with the Celtics in the playoffs that included four separate matchups.
The Sixers' statement jerseys haven't been worn all that often during the season, just on certain occasions, but for the road games during this series with the Celtics, starting Monday night, red will be the featured color.
