Josh Adams | Running Back | Notre Dame
The Eagles did not draft a running back in the 2018 NFL Draft although many expected them to. Instead they waited until after the draft to sign Josh Adams – a six-foot-two-inch 213lb. running back. Look for the Warrington, PA native to stake his claim as a short yardage back for the team after LeGarrette Blount went to Detroit via free agency.
Joe Ostman | Defensive End | Central Michigan
Ostman is a high-motor pass rushing specialist. He received a fifth round grade from NFL.com but his build likely gave teams pause because he has short legs that make it difficult for him to beat blockers with agility. He makes up for his physical shortcomings with a commendable work ethic. He's likely to find himself on the practice squad with the Eagles ridiculous depth at defensive end.
Jeremy Reaves | Safety | Southern Alabama
Reaves has questions surrounding where he'll line up in the NFL, but one thing is certain – whichever position he is assigned he will always be ready to lay some wood. Reaves's defining characteristic is his physicality. He is a natural football player with strong instincts and knack for blowing up plays by getting a hit behind the line or defending the pass. Reaves has a chance to work himself on to the team's 53-man roster as a special teams player and a depth safety.
Stephen Roberts | Safety | Auburn
Roberts possesses spectacular speed and athleticism, but he does not have prototypical NFL size. He is essentially the inverse of Jeremy Reaves in terms of strengths and weaknesses. Look for an interesting battle between Roberts and Reaves when camps open.
Danny Ezechukwu | Linebacker | Purdue
Ezechukwu may find himself working more with the pass rushers than the linebackers in training camp, but the Eagles can use all the young linebackers they can get. Ezechukwu's only hope to make the roster is to be a special team's contributor.
Chandon Sullivan | Cornerback | Georgia State
Sullivan is a good athlete and has the benefit of being a four-year starter at Georgia State, but he will need to pay extra attention to whatever defensive backs coach Corey Undlin teaches him in camp. A finalist for the academic Heisman Trophy, Sullivan needs to improve his skills in coverage and as a tackler to find a spot on the team's roster.
Jordan Thomas | Cornerback | Oklahoma
Thomas needed a strong senior season to become a draftable prospect, but injuries derailed his draft hopes and now he will try to catch on as an undrafted free agent. Like Sullivan, Thomas will have to show progress in his ability to tackle, but his ball skills are a strength and may give him an edge over Sullivan for spot on the roster or practice squad..
Ian Park | Offensive Guard | Slippery Rock
Park transferred from Northwestern to Slippery Rock University. He played six games for The Rock before an injury cut his season short. He possesses good size (6'4", 315). The Upper St. Clair, PA native started 16 games during his time at Northwestern. He is likely to find a spot on the practice squad to provide the team with more offensive line depth.
Toby Weathersby | Offensive Tackle | LSU
The Eagles drafted two offensive tackles in the sixth and seventh rounds on Saturday, so Weathersby's propsects for making the roster are slim. He does provide the ability to play both sides, and there are scouts who believe he may transition to guard in the NFL giving him valuable versatility.
Jeremiah Briscoe | Quarterback | Sam Houston State
Briscoe beat out Cooper Kupp for FCS's version of the Heisman in 2016, so he clearly has some playing chops. Briscoe likes to grip it an rip it but he struggles with his accuracy. The team already Has Carson Wentz, Nick Foles, and Nate Sudfeld under contract, so Briscoe may not be much more than an extra arm in camp.
Bruce Hector | Defensive Tackle | South Florida
This is a player whose production in college likely caught the Eagles attention. Hector registered 13 tackles for loss and seven sacks last season. The team wants to have plenty of rookie contracts on the books for when Carson Wentz's contract extension comes due. Hector could be an affordable replacement for a player like Destiny Vaeao when his contract expires.
