Eagles Injury Update: Nolan Smith Has Surgery To Repair Torn Triceps From Super Bowl

The Eagles have had a second player complete surgery in the offseason.
After Cam Jurgens had surgery to alleviate pain from his back injury, the Birds also had edge rusher Nolan Smith complete surgery.
#Eagles pass-rusher Nolan Smith tore his triceps in the Super Bowl LIX win over the #Chiefs — and played through it in the second half, per me and @MikeGarafolo.

It is newly reported (at least officially) that Smith suffered a torn triceps in the Super Bowl.
This isn’t too much of a surprise, however, for many observant fans who saw Smith grabbing at his arm with an injury during the DeAndre Hopkins drop just before halftime.
Smith, of course, finished the game playing and did not wind up missing any meaningful snaps.
