By Josh Liddick, Sports Talk Philly editor JJ Redick on missed last shot:

It was a disappointing end to a very entertaining game, as the Sixers fell to the Miami Heat 102-101 on Tuesday night.

A Dwyane Wade two-point jumper with six seconds left gave the Heat the go-ahead lead, and the final sequence of the night allowed the Sixers to have one final chance to win the game with either a two-pointer or an open look for three.

Dario Saric made a great play and a great pass that drew all the Heat defenders off the top of the key leaving Redick wide open for three. The result wasn't ideal though, as Redick told NBC Sports Philadelphia's Jessica Camerato.

It was a good play that was drawn up, but the end result didn't agree with the formation of the play. Redick struggled shooting the ball all night long, going 4-of-14 from the field, 2-of-8 from 3-point land for 15 points. If there was a shot made for the kind of player Redick is, that was the one.

Redick, despite missing the final shot and the Sixers losing their second straight game isn't worried about where the team is at competitively.

"I think we competed really hard tonight. That was a playoff-like game and we were up to the task. Turnovers was a problem for us tonight. D-Wade down the stretch was amazing. Vintage D-Wade. But I thought we competed tonight, and again, it was like a playoff game."

The playoff-minded Sixers turn their attention to their next game, a big-time playoff-like game against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Thursday night.
