Eagles Offseason: Cam Jurgens Lands Four-Year Extension

The Eagles front office has completed their first major extension of the offseason.
The team and center Cam Jurgens have agreed to a four-year extension on Monday.
Pro-Bowl center Cam Jurgens and the Eagles reached agreement today on a four-year, $68 million extension that includes $39.4 million guaranteed that contractually ties him to Philadelphia through the 2029 season, per the team and his agent Ryan Tollner at @excelfootball. pic.twitter.com/IBS1CFX4HY

Jurgens became eligible for an extension following the completion of the 2024 season (his third in the league), so it was expected that the team would lock up their young OL.
2025 is the last season of Jurgen’s rookie contract, but he’s now under team control through 2029.
The deal is worth $68 million with $39.4 million guaranteed.
The $68 million total value and $17 million AAV put Jurgens second in the league for centers behind only Kansas City’s Creed Humphries.
Jurgens received his first Pro-Bowl selection this year in his first year as a starter at center replacing Jason Kelce.
Other members of the 2022 draft class are also eligible for extensions, so Jordan Davis, Nakobe Dean, and Grant Calcaterra are eligible at this point. Jordan Davis is a key player to watch as the Eagles would seem likely to focus on him as a guy in the trenches.
