Elliott refuses Wentz’s game check, pair plan to donate to charity

Jake Elliott's leg sent the city of Philadelphia into a frenzy this past Sunday with his record 61-yard field goal, and it appeared as though he also was going to leave quarterback Carson Wentz with a lighter wallet after Wentz made a wager seconds before the kick went through the uprights:
We had @cj_wentz mic'd up for #NYGvsPHI and, well, just listen for yourself. #FlyEaglesFly pic.twitter.com/jEyB1msn1o

Wentz also tweeted yesterday that he and Elliott had settled their wager:
Well that escalated quickly…
but don't worry, @jake_elliott22 and I got this worked out…

We now know how the second-year quarterback and rookie kicker plan to resolve the Wentz's bet. Elliott said that Wentz actually sent the above video to him, along with a picture of his game check. Elliott refused the check but instead worked out an alternative.
"Me and Carson are gonna work something out," said Elliott. "We're gonna work something out with a charity. He said just kind of pick a charity of my choice, something that hit close to me there, and we'll figure something out."
Wentz's game check is approximately $31,765, which is sure to help whichever charity it ends up being donated to.
