Anyone receiving a new Sixers jersey on Christmas morning will be able to put it to use immediately.
A report recently broke from Spike Eskin of 94.1 WIP that the Sixers are slated to play in the NBA's annual series of games taking place on Christmas Day:

This game is expected to be broadcast nationally, solidifying the Sixers as a major market for basketball with the culmination of the process looming.
The Sixers will reignite their rivalry with the New York Knicks at noon on Christmas day, with the Eagles playing at home against the Raiders that night.
The Sixers and Knicks split their season series last season, with both teams winning two games at home, including T.J. McConnell's buzzer beater over Carmelo Anthony on January 11.
