Another young Flyer will return to the organization, giving them one less restricted free agent to worry about.
Taylor Leier will return on a one-year deal, according to a report from TVA Sports' Renaud Lavoie. Leier's contract will be two-way, and he'll earn $806,558, according to CapFriendly.

Leier, 23, has played in 16 games with the Orange and Black over parts of the 2015-16 and 2016-17 seasons. He's scored one goal, while adding an assist as well as four penalty minutes.
He's seen much more action at the American League level, playing in 192 games with the Lehigh Valley Phantoms since 2014-15. With the Phantoms, Leier has tallied 46 goals and 117 points — though he missed 28 games last year with injury. He was also named MVP of the AHL All-Star Classic, held in his home PPL Center last season.
A native of Saskatoon, Sasketchewan, Leier was selected by the Flyers in the fourth round of the 2012 Draft. This contact likely means he'll return to the Lehigh Valley for a fourth season, though there won't be any waiver implications should the Flyers need to call him back up.
The Flyers extended qualifying offers to Leier and six other players back in late June. Scott Laughton and Mike Vecchione have signed further deals, while Roman Lyubimov returned to the KHL. For now, Cole Bardreau, Anthony Stolarz and Alex Lyon remain unsigned.
