The Houston Rockets and Los Angeles Clippers just completed a deal that involved eight players, but it was centered around All-Star point guard Chris Paul headed to Houston. The Rockets, in order to make the salaries match for the deal, sent seven players to Los Angeles in the deal, most of which had non-guaranteed contracts. How do the Philadelphia 76ers factor into this? Well, the Rockets just acquired big man Shawn Long from Philadelphia.

Whether or not he stays to fill a spot on their roster or gets traded in another deal remains to be seen. The trade was Houston's sixth of the day.
Long, 24, spent the majority of 2016-17 with the Sixers G-League affiliate in Delaware and averaged 20.2 points and 11.1 rebounds per game. Due to Sixers injuries and trades, Long joined Philadelphia for 18 games and averaged 8.2 points and 4.7 rebounds in 13 minutes per game, shooting 56 percent from the floor.
The Sixers signed Shawn Long to a multi-year deal in March, but it was only partially guaranteed for the next two years.
