Smith has already caused a stir during the pre-draft process when he worked out for the Los Angeles Lakers. Smith's vertical leap was measured at a reported 48 inches, tying an NBA record. The leap, which is impressive in its own right, becomes even more impressive when you consider the fact Smith is roughly two years removed from a torn ACL.
Smith is ranked as the seventh best prospect in this year's draft by DraftExpress.
Smith stands 6-feet-3-inches tall and weighs 195 pounds. In his lone season at NC State, Smith averaged 18.1 points, 4.6 rebounds, 6.2 assists, and 1.9 steals per game while playing almost 35 minutes a night. He shot 50.9 percent from the field and 71.5 percent from the free throw line.
The Sixers are also hosting Kentucky guard Malik Monk at their practice facility, on what has turned into a busy day for the team.
