For Philadelphia Phillies fans that are fond of the team's 1980s look, the month of July will feel something like Christmas.
SportsTalkPhilly.com noted earlier this week that the Phillies will don their burgundy and white throwbacks twice in July, which Joe Trinacria of Philadelphia Magazine says is in honor of the 1983 team that won the National League pennant. Now Caitlin Moyer, who is the Milwaukee Brewers' Director of New Media, says the Phillies will wear their powder blue throwbacks when they take on the Brewers at Miller Park in July:
The party will go on all weekend as the 2017 Brewers will wear the team’s 1982 home uniforms during all three games. The Phillies will also wear powder blue throwback uniforms from that season.
The Phillies will be in Milwaukee for a three-game set next month, which starts on Friday, July 14. The weekend prior to that is when they will welcome the San Diego Padres to Citizens Bank Park, with the club set to wear their burgundy and white throwback jerseys on July 7 and July 9.
As this picture from Phil Hecken of Uni Watch shows, the Brewers 1982 throwbacks are quite clean as well:

Why the Brewers ever went away from using the baseball glove logo as their primary logo has never been clear. What is clear is that from July 14-16, there's going to be quite at bit of 1980s throwback blue on display at Miller Park.
