As part of their home opener — which you can read a full preview of here — the Philadelphia Phillies are debuting a patch honoring former manager Dallas Green, who passed away last month at the age of 82.
Jim Salisbury of Comcast SportsNet Philadelphia obtained a photo of the patch, and they are pretty solid looking:

Traditionally, the Phillies have worn black patches above the "Phillies" on the left side of their jersey to honor important members of the organization who have passed away, such as Harry Kalas. Normally, like in the case of Kalas or former partner Sally Buck, the patch is black with white writing and will just have the initials of the person, such as "HK."
This, obviously, is more creative, and unlike the other patches, it will be worn on the right sleeves of the jerseys.
Green managed the Phillies in 1980, which was the first World Series title in franchise history. In addition to that, he served in various other roles for the organization over the course of his life in the sport.
In addition to Green's passing, another Phillies lifer, Ruben Amaro Sr., who was Green's first base coach in 1980, passed away last week. It's not clear if the Phillies plan to honor Amaro in any way.
